Rise in Paralysis Cases After Polio Vaccine – Deccan Chronicle April 14, 2012

In a time when the vaccinphilia (=vaccine loving) is rampant in the world, I think it is important to be cautious and at least be well-informed about the risks of the use of vaccins. Although vaccine adepts are keen to qualify everyone critical of vaccination as crazy anti-vaxxers, it should not stand in the way of the truth. In India 447,000 children were paralyzed as a result of the polio-vaccine that was administered by Bill Gates and his World Health Organization.

Normally, he said, the chances of children under the age of 15 getting affected by non-polio AFP are 1-2 per 100,000. But, the rate of non-polio AFP nationally “is now 12 times higher than expected.” In 2011, an additional 47,500 children were newly paralyzed, over and above the standard rate of 2 children per 100,000 non-polio AFP cases, says the paper in the journal.

The original source of this artilce in the South Indian newspaper Deccan Chronicle was removed. Fortunately there is still a copy to be found in the webarchive (1), or you can download a pdf which I archived myself (2).
